I met the Wilder Flower bluegrass band at the recent Albino Skunk Music Festival. While they were playing their opening set, I scouted out locations backstage and thought this mirror would make for some interesting photographs. I love how the foreground and background with their reflected image offer a creative view of these talented musicians.

Once Chance for Sunset

Careful planning was required to make this stunning sunset photograph of Amanda and Jason at the Hotel Domestique in Travelers Rest, SC. It required scouting the location and doing test shots earlier in the week, understanding that the sun would disappear below the mountains earlier than the actual sunset and getting the bride and groom in place on time. They were super cooperative, playful and so in love. I just wanted them to play and not overly pose them. I love how the final image came out and most importantly so did the bride and groom!
